Before you follow the steps described below, please ensure that Neodynamic Barcode Professional is correctly configured to work with VS & Reporting Services. For more info about it please refer to Configuring Barcode Professional for Reporting Services topic.
- Launch Visual Studio 2005/2008/2010 or SQL Server Business Intelligence Development Studio
- Create a new Report Server Project under Business Intelligence Projects or open an existing one.
- Open the Toolbox, right-click on it, and select Choose Items
- Select the .NET Framework Components tab. You will find the Neodynamic.ReportingServices.Barcode assembly listed.
If you cannot find it...Double-click on Barcode Professional assembly to select it, then click on OK.
- Click on Browse button, and navigate to the folder you installed it to.
- Browse to the Bin\BarcodeCRI\For SSRS 2005 folder if you are using VS 2005 or Bin\BarcodeCRI\For SSRS 2008 folder if you are using VS 2008 or Bin\BarcodeCRI\For SSRS 2012 folder if you are using VS 2010.
- Select Neodynamic.ReportingServices.Barcode.dll from that dialog, and click on Open.
- Click on OK button.
- The Barcode Professional control should now appear in the Visual Studio Toolbox.
